St. Martin's Laternen

Here in Germany they don't celebrate Halloween, but they do celebrate a holiday called St. Martin's. All of the kids make lanterns, and then walk through the streets carrying the lit lanterns and sing songs. Since Luna is in kindergarten now, she will be going next Tuesday. And since she is a bit too young to be making her own lantern, I made one for her. Stay posted for pictures from the walk, but here is the lantern! I'm so excited about it now. I wasn't sure what I was going to do about it, but then I found a magazine in the supermarket today that had different ideas, and this is what we ended up with! We still have to get a stick and a light for it, but it should be done soon. Can't wait!
