Queen's Day!

For Queen's Day this year, we decided to keep it a bit more lowkey - so all the peeps with kiddos headed to Amstelveen to celebrate. And it was definitely more low-key than Amsterdam last year! Thank goodness! Here are some of the pictures.

Queen's Day traditionally is when everybody goes out and sells their used goods - and have a tax break on their proceeds, so it's also like a huge garage sale along the streets. It's also quite a party, and everybody wears their orange!

Here comes the parade of strollers!

And Amstelveen also has the obligatory windmill... (molen!)

Everybody stop! The light is red!

Maribel and her youngest Emma.

Some of the revelers.

Merel and Sonja hanging out with the girls...

Little Angel Lieke...

Little Angel Luna... she was about Lieke's age at Queen's Day last year.

Bas and Vincent.

Marieke, Sandra and Maribel.

The older girls played pass the balloon with Luna.

Luna wasn't too happy about the face paint!
