We have a beautiful lilac tree in our backyrad - that is SO fragrant right now, I thought I'd make a post about it. I imported some of the lilacs to our dinner table, here's what they look like. And here, also, is our friend the snail.. he was huge!
lilacs are a family tradition, you know. my grandmother always had huge bouquets in the house and several huge bushes in the yard covered with wonderfully fragrant lilacs. I don't remember my mother having bushes ever, but I now have four bushes growing beside the house. I love them.
