The day before the wedding (Monday) we stopped by the school where Bas and Merel work (Bas's (my husband's) sister is Merel, who just got married to another Bas... that's the Bas I'm referring to!) Bas is the cook there, and does alot of fun things with the kids. We managed to stop by at a time when the kids at school were surprising them with a little gift basket...

Before we headed back to the hotel we stopped to pick up some food, and Bas got some of his favorite herring. I spared you of that photo, but decided to share this one of a Dutch couple that was in the fish shop... bet she won't kiss him after, either!
Next day Bas and Merel got up early and headed off to the Dutch equivalent of a Justice of the Peace with their witnesses (their parents.) A little cake party with a very big cake, was waiting for the happy couple when they returned home...

Oma has been buying charms for Luna, and had them attached to the bracelet for her. Luna was quite excited to be able to wear it!
Bas and Merel have a turtle, who Luna was enthralled with. She had some lengthy conversations with Els about him (her?)!
After cake, what else, but bowling? Dana's request, and what fun!
