A Birthday Party for Oliver and Zoe.

Sunday we celebrated the birthdays of two of Luna's friends, which was hosted by my good friend Jennie and her husband, and attended by some of our closest friends.  (Make sure to click the photo to enlarge - we were blessed with really great light!)

Mark was fabulous as the games M.C., and kicked things off with a treasure hunt.

That's my friend Alex talking to Luna below...

Manolis had to join in!

Thalia and Indie are too cute together!

And Akiro and Luna make a great team.

Then it was time for the sack race.

Zoe gets a little help from her Dad.

And then Akiro.

I love this picture!

The sack race was followed by an egg race.

Go Oliver!

Indie says Stop!  (She was doing a little dance, it was too cute.)

Then the Mars bar game - this was the best!  The children had to roll a die, and if the child rolled a 6, they had to put on mittens, a scarf and a hat as quickly as they could, and then attempt to cut the Mars bar with a fork and knife before taking a bite.  The other children kept rolling and if anyone else rolls a 6 in that time, they then get to try donning the gear fast enough to cut a bite.

Luna shoved a HUGE piece in her mouth and could barely chew!

Hurry Oliver!

Satisfaction.

Zoe modified the approach and opted for only the knife on delivery...

Next was Pass the Parcel, with Rebecca assisting.

Love that Jennie stuck the pizza in at the exact moment I grabbed a shot of the table!

And finally a round of Musical Statues!

Luna froze AFTER she hit the floor.

After getting out, Luna sat so patiently while the others finished the game!  I was amazed!

The two finalists.

Time for grub!

I love this picture!  Look at those cheeks!

Well, the kids were never going to eat ALL that food!

Jennie outdid herself and made a special cake for each child!

Lights out for the candles!

Papa and Tess found a good chair to watch.

Oh the anticipation!!!

Thanks Jennie and Mark, we had a lovely time.  But most importantly - Happy Birthday Zoe and Oliver!
