A visit with Gramma...

...draws to an end tomorrow. Sniffle, sniffle.  But we were blessed with 2 weeks!  And, fortunately we will see her again, soon!

It is their 3rd year!

I think we may have officially crossed over into hoarding status...

We just got back from a weekend at my Aunt Sheila and Uncle Roger's place in western Germany... they have base access, and BX and Commissary privileges...

The Hospital!

We did a hospital tour yesterday... here are some shots (taken from Bas's Blackberry - forgive the quality...)

This is the "pre" labor room, in case they need to get you on monitors before a room is ready for you.

 Here is the bed in the labor and delivery room.  Notice the "swing" behind the lady...  and the towel swan on the bed...

I think each room has a tub for water birthing...  if I'm not hooked up to too many machines this time I'll give it a try...  "swing" is in the foreground...

Another room, a bit smaller... interesting thing... none of the rooms have private bathrooms.  Great.

A 2 person recovery room, minus the beds.  As long as they aren't too full, we will pay to have Bas sleep in  the extra bed.

Love the fact that they still use "hospital green."

"Stillraum" where you can come to nurse, should you have a noisy roommate or roommate-baby.
